Relay for Life: the fight against cancer

This weekend has been the most tiring but gratifying weekend so far. I have been up for over 24 hours!! with only about 6 hours of sleep. I am in the 2011 NAU Relay for Life committee and last night we stayed up all night hosting an event rasing money to fight cancer! We raised over 46, 000 dollars!! It was great! Everyone had a good time until we woke up on sunday and realized we had homework! :/ Overall I had a great time we danced, ate, walked and met new people from all walks of life cancer survivors, people with friends and loved ones who had or have cancer were there everyone was there for a reason! It was a great succes and we stayed up all night because cancer never sleeps! Way to go relayers :)

I'm slacking a bit! But what can I say I just got married and have homework, tests, bills, a husband and finals to worry about!!

Cesar Chavez Day!

I don't know if alot of people know where I work but I am the National Days of Service Coordinator for AmeriCorps. I plan national events of service for the community and students of Flagstaff AZ. Today myself and about 50 volunteers including my husband :)! made Cesar Chavez Cares Kits for the homeless in Flagstaff. We made about 150 kits for three different shelters! If that's not great IDK what is! lol This has always been something I have wanted to do, and I finally had the chance to do it! Oh! and Alejandro Chavez was also there (Cesar Chavez's Nephew!) he gave a speech and helped out making the care kits! I was also on NAZ TV talking about the events, to say the least I am horrible at interviews.

Today was a good Day! I hope it spreads to tommorrow! I have a math test :)

We're Married!

It's been a while since i've posted anything new! Tyler and I got married exactly 2 weeks ago today! It is the best day of my life, with many more to come! We should be getting our wedding pictures in a week! I am so excited and they will be up as soon as I get them! Our honeymoon was also the best ever! We went to the "happiest place on earth" :) DISNEYLAND! We are begining a tradition, if god allows us to we will go to disneyland every year on our anniversary and get each other a pin to go on our disney lanyard! I am so excited :) Our honeymoon pictures will also be up soon as well! Oh and we got a puppy! She's 15 weeks now!

Marriage :)

So it's been a while since i posted anything! Idk I just thought everyone would like to know that Tyler and I get married in a month tomorrow!!! Is that exciting or what :)

We went to get our marriage license a few weeks ago it feels real now! lol The part I love is that it is the same place that his grandma and grandpa got there marriage license! It makes me happy to know that we may have a wonderful marriage just like theirs! :) We love grandma and grandpa Inman!

My Welcome Back!

Tyler and I got in last night at 12am! from Phoenix. Well let's just say it's been way too long! His room was a disaster. So today I made it my mission to clean his room up :) I had to do it i just can't stand being in a dirty room. I guess you can say it's my pet peeve! So here are the before and after pictures!

Chrismas Break

I have had an awesome well deserved break! I got alot of things done, but there i still more to do! gosh idk if theires enough time in the days. I love my family and am so glad I got to see them and spend time with them :)
